Each GeneActive Formulation ‘D’ (GFD) capsule contains melon-derived GliSODin and myrosinase-active broccoli sprout powder. Broccoli sprouts contain phytonutrients which when consumed, may yield sulforaphane – a potent inducer of antioxidant defences and detoxification enzymes. Sulforaphane is a potent bioactive compound that may protect human cells from oxidative damage, including from air pollutants. Deficiency of Vitamin B2, B6, B12 and folate is correlated with DNA damage in human cells.
