Over the past 17 years, I have been passionately studying and learning about the human body, mind, and spirit through various formal and informal learning environments.
Over that time, I have been blessed to cross paths with some incredible teachers and mentors, who have taught me the importance of looking outside the box for answers, to have faith in the human spirit to overcome adversity, and to believe in our potential to do great things with this one precious life that we have been given.
My own life experience has included a few personal healing journeys, which have seen me heal myself of several health conditions in my early twenties, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, as well as more recently successfully putting an Autoimmune thyroid condition (Hashimoto’s) into remission.
Why do I share this with you? Because I believe my own journey and story is one that I can draw valuable experience from in helping others through their own healing journeys, as it has shown me what it takes to get well – and stay well. I believe that each of our healing journeys are going to be unique, and that what worked for me may not work for you… but what I DO know, is that there are some fundamental ingredients required to set people up for success in their health and life.
I know how challenging it can be to feel like you are at your wit’s end and all you want is someone to hold your hand and give you some direction and guidance that will help get you the hell out of there. So I see my role as your guide.. I will walk beside you, initially holding your hand if you need me to, and at the same time empowering you with the tools, skills and resources you need to be well and be happy! My intention for you is to become empowered in your own health and wellbeing, so that you don’t need me in your life anymore!
At the same time, know that I am not here to do the work for you… only you can do that. And I will only work with people who are willing to take responsibility for themselves and their choices. I help those who want to help themselves…
